Customer: It was pretty steady for a Monday. There was a big 50 top in the dining room that Doug and Zach handled pretty well. There were only a couple of comps for some of the classic drinks. I don't people are reading the menu very well. All they see are $5 drinks and they pick something that sounds good. I've had to comp few drinks because people didn't know what they were getting into. Maybe we should have a tutorial on the drinks and how to sell them and figure which ones cater to certain folks..
Server: Everyone seemed really busy, but the sales weren't so high. As always with the ROT crowd, people were impatient, but that's just because they are old and don't remember what their server looks like. With that being said, Jem had a hard time finding Dawn. Apparently she kept pulling houdini's all night and Jem was basically taking care of all of her tables. He said he could've handled Cocktail all by himself, that's how much she was gone. She made the mistake of thinking she could wander around as soon as her tables were okay. Nope. Those people are OLD.As soon as you turn your back, they're wondering where their server is and bugging everyone in a highball shirt. And they LIE. They'll say, " I haven't seen my server in like, 20 minutes. Can you help me?" Bull. I think we need to stress how important it is for the servers to stay in close to cocktail on Mondays.
Support: I pretty much bussed 90% of my lanes. If it wasn't me, it was the res desk folks which is awesome by the way. Ezra got cut pretty early and it was only Andrew on. It's not that he wasn't trying, he was just really busy bussing dining. Karaoke and Bowling got NO support love. Maybe the busser shouldn't get cut until after dinner rush. I'm not sure why Ezra was cut so early, but it's the second time it's happened. And both times it wasn't a good idea.
Kitchen: The 50 top had them pretty busy for a good hour or so, but the food was still coming out at reasonable times. Steven handled expo pretty well and everyone was around to help take the food out.
Bar: I added this one because I wanted to mention something that bothered me slightly. I understand that the bartenders want to get the hell out of dodge as soon as possible and it helps if they break down the server well early in the night. However, it was still busy in dining as well as Bowling when they announced that they were breaking down the well. Britt and I had full lanes, Nicole had three or four rooms and dining was steady up until about eleven. The bartenders were so busy breaking down and cleaning that they were neglecting the well and customers. This doesn't happen very often, but when it does, it sucks. I don't mind carrying my tickets to the front well, but it needs to happen when we are dead and only when we are dead.
Top Three: Jem, Kris, and Zach. Kris improved quite a bit and Zach handled the big top quite well.

Bottom Three: Dawn, Doug and Nicole G. Dawn was nowhere to be found for a while, Doug never does side work when he's on the floor, and Nicole G. bugged me about leaving with only forty minutes left on her shift. Really? She even had a room still that she wanted to close out and have me take. I don't mind cutting the karaoke closer when it's dead but not when you still have a room.
